The Chamberlin Observatory was built in 1890, and features a the same 20-inch thick telescopic lens it originally was fitted with. The structure is located within Observatory Park, near the University of Denver campus. The enormous piece of sky-viewing technology is still in use, though mainly reserved for weekly shows attended by the public.
