Centered around Sloan's Lake, a large lake in the center of the property, Sloan's Lake Park is a popular neighborhood destination for exercise and fun. Wrapping around the lake is a 2.9-mile exercise path and the grassy surroundings include amenities like picnic benches, a playground and a soccer field. Boating and water skiing are popular on the lake, though a permit must be obtained beforehand. The park is in the Sloan's Lake neighborhood of northwest Denver, not far from INVESCO Field where the Denver Broncos play.
